Severe Weather Could Impact Southern Miss Campuses, Teaching Sites Saturday-Sunday (Feb. 24-25)

The University Police Department reminds students, faculty and staff of the potential for severe weather that could impact University of Southern Mississippi campuses and teaching sites late Saturday evening and Sunday. While the system is expected to bring its most significant impacts to the central and northern portions of the state, severe weather cannot be ruled out for the Hattiesburg area, or even the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The system could bring heavy rain, high winds and flash flooding to low-lying areas.
