Tornado Siren Testing on Wednesday, Feb. 21  

Be advised that as part of a statewide tornado drill, The University of Southern Mississippi plans to test tornado sirens on the Hattiesburg campus on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at approximately 9:15 a.m. Activation of the sirens at this date and time is for testing purposes only. No action is required.

The University Police Department (UPD) also reminds the University community that if an active tornado warning includes USM’s Hattiesburg or Gulf Coast locations, the Eagle Alert emergency communication system would also be activated.
