The University of Southern Mississippi will reopen at noon on Thursday, Jan. 30, with classes scheduled to resume at 12:30 p.m. on the Gulf Coast and 1 p.m. in Hattiesburg.
The Southern Miss community is also advised of the following:
--Food services will be available on the Hattiesburg Campus at the Fresh Food Company and Seymour’s beginning at 9 a.m. All other food service locations will begin operating on their normal schedules beginning Thursday afternoon.
--Parking zones will return to their regular designations beginning on Thursday at 1 p.m.
--Non-essential employees are advised to continue to refrain from coming to campus while the University is closed.
--Hattiesburg campus students are advised that neighboring Lamar County has announced a curfew from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. on Thursday.
