Severe Weather May Impact University of Southern Mississippi Campuses, Teaching Sites Friday-Saturday (April 13-14)

The University Police Department wants to inform students, faculty and staff of the potential for severe weather that could impact The University of Southern Mississippi's campuses and teaching sites late Friday evening and Saturday. The system is expected to bring high winds, hail and several inches of rain that could lead to flash flooding to low-lying areas. Poor drainage, ponding and a rise in local rivers and streams could also occur. The potential for tornadoes also exists.
